CM Kumaraswamy shouldn’t have shed tears: Former minister A Manju

Mysuru, July 16:- “Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, who should be wiping the tears of the people in the state should not have shed tears. It shows his helplessness,” said former minister A Manju.

He was speaking at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Monday.

“Congress has given complete support to the Chief Minister. Congress has not given him poison but power. We have provided him support to govern the state for the next 5 years. Coalition government is like a family. The Chief Minister who can’t govern a state can’t shed tears, this is not right,” he added.

“The behaviour of Chief Minister Kumaraswamy will bring disrepute to Congress and leaders of the party. Writing letters to the government is not a crime. The suggestions should be received with an open heart by the government. But Kumaraswamy is trying to frame Siddaramaiah by writing him a letter. He should recall when Janata Dal (Secular) supremo HD Deve Gowda used to write letters to Siddaramaiah when he was chief minister,” he said.

Manju questioned H D Deve Gowda as to how good it is to expect only his son and his party to be happy in a coalition government. He advised Kumaraswamy to take everyone into confidence. (KMR, NGB)
