CM Kumaraswamy to inaugurate Brahmins’ Convention tomorrow in Mysuru

Mysuru, December 14:- “Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy will inaugurate the mega Brahmins’ Convention in the city on Saturday,” said the president of Brahmana Yuva Vedike H N Sridharamurthy at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Friday.

“Kumaraswamy will be felicitated at the event for starting Shankara jayanti and establishing a separate board for the welfare of the community. The convention will be held at Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram on December 15 and 16,” he added.

“Brahmana Yuva Goshti will be held in the presence of music director K Kalyan at 5 pm on December 15. Dr Shalvapillai Iyengar, N M Naveen Kumar, Dr Ashok Narendra and others will be present,” he said.

“Shops of Brahmin industrialists will be opened. 40 shops will be there at the exhibition and sales. Procession will be held on December 16 at 7:30 am. More than 10,000 people will take part in the procession,” he added.

Vice president Ajay Shastry, joint secretary Jaisimha Kadakola Jagadish, Jayasimha, Ranganath Subba Rao, B V Prashant and others were present. (KMR, NGB)
