Mysuru, April 6:- With the BJP and JD(S) baying for his blood, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah Siddaramaiah reportedly said that he has the ability to overcome their challenge.
“JD(S) and BJP were united in 2006 by-election, but I won it from Chamundeshwari constituency,” he said. Siddaramaiah who arrived in the city on Thursday evening is expected to start the second round of his campaign. He will be visiting Suttur mutt after having breakfast at the residence of party worker Umesh. He will start his rounds at Chamundeshwari constituency after seeking blessings from Suttur seer. A meeting with Vokkaliga leaders will be held at Vokkaliga community centre. Senior leaders Siddegowda, Narasegowda, Krishna Madegowda, Marigowda, Manjegowda and others will attend the meeting. He will visit Kotehundi and Huyilalu in the evening.
Siddaramaiah visiting Suttur mutt soon after the visits of BJP president Amit Shah and state BJP president’s son B Y Vijayendra is leading to a lot of speculations. (MR/KS).
