Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has promised to find a solution to the burning Falcon Tyres dispute. During the second day of the winter session of the Karnataka legislature at Belagavi, MLA from Chamundeshwari constituency, G T Devegowda raised the issue of the closure of Falcon Tyres.
“The families of thousands of Falcon employees are facing a tough time. Most of the families depending on the company are now with no source of income and are struggling to run the family. Even after repeated reminders, CM has not taken this issue seriously. Government should immediately take action to help the employees,” urged Devegowda.
Responding to this, CM said: “Meetings were scheduled in the presence of Industries Minister R V Deshapande, but couldn’t come to any decision. We will organise another meeting and take necessary actions to restart Falcon Tyres after the Belagavi session.”
