Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is the most corrupt politician India has ever seen, said BJP state president and former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa in Mysuru on Thursday.
Speaking to media persons on the sidelines at a private function in the city, Yeddyurappa said that “No matter how many times they reopen my case, I have no fear because justice is on my side. The state government has made a huge profit in the name of the steel flyover bridge (now shelved). Bengaluru Development Minister K J Goerge should be prepared to answer all the queries regarding the Rs 65 crore kickbacks as mentioned in the diary. Siddaramaiah should resign as the chief minister as his administration has become the epitome of scams and illegal activities,” he added.
“The chief minister has been repeatedly accusing me of scams, if he continues further like this I will file a defamation case against Siddaramaiah,” he added.
On selection of BJP candidates for the upcoming elections, BSY said that more people are joining BJP. This is the reflection of poor administration by the Congress. A lot of potential candidates are available in BJP. The party leaders will select the right candidate for the upcoming assembly by-elections, he added.
MP Pratap Simha, former minister S A Ramdass and other BJP leaders were present.
