CM Siddaramaiah’s outburst against Modi, Yeddyurappa

Prime News, Karnataka, Hassan, July 3:- Chief Minister Siddaramaiah accuses BJP of taking credit to GST and promoting GST for their benefit.

Speaking on the occasion of Hassan Congress party’s Mysuru division level representative function, Siddaramaiah said, when PM Narendra Modi was Chief Minister of Gujarat, he opposes the introduction of Goods and Services Tax Act (GST) for 10 years and now they are claiming the credit for GST.

Clarifying Congress stand on GST said, Congress is not opposing GST, but we have an objection to the way Bharatiya Janata Party BJP marketing  GST as this is their own.

Accusing BJP CM said, BJP party is anti-reservation, they are representing fascist views, by repeating the lie, BJP trying to prove their view.

CM further criticising former chief minister Yeddyurappa, BJP going to polls in the name of Modi, there is no credible face in Karnataka BJP, in a sarcastic tirade CM said,  Yeddyurappa should be ashamed himself of being into jail for his corrupt acts.

CM said, compare to other BJP ruled states there are no communal riots in Karnataka. There is a cohesive atmosphere prevailed in the Karnataka.

CM called on party workers to highlight the people friendly schemes the Congress has introduced in Karnataka for the poor and marginalised.

The other leaders present on the occasion were, Energy Minister DK Shiva Kumar, KPCC President DR G Parameshwara,  KPCC working President Dinesh Gundu Rao and others.
