CM to visit drought-hit areas from today

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is all set to begin his visit to the drought-hit areas of the state from today. “I am visiting the areas that are drought-hit. We can analyse the amount of loss occurred due to drought,” said Chief Minister.

He was speaking to the media before leaving for Bengaluru. “Due to failure of  monsoon, Karnataka is affected by drought. Farmers have lost crop and are facing a tough time. I will visit the agricultural areas and collect details regarding the loss faced by the farmers,” he said.

When asked about the wage revision of the police, Siddaramaiah said that the finance department is directed to prepare a report on the wage revision and the decision will be taken according to the report.

When asked about reports on Tanveer Sait watching explicit videos, the Chief Minister said he did not deny the reports. He had asked for the reports and based on the TV reports no action can be taken.
