Prime News, Karnataka, Education, Bengaluru, August 29:- Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Friday (August 28) launched the Mitra app for teachers at a function held at Vidhana Soudha here.
“The process of teacher transfers will be processed through the app from this year onwards. We hold teachers in high esteem and our government has responded positively to their demands,” said Yediyurappa. The government had announced the Mitra app during the budget session.
The chief minister said that there is no need for teachers to take leave and visit the Education Department office from now onwards to apply for transfers, instead they can apply online after downloading the app on their mobile phones.
The chief minister lauded Suresh Kumar for making the transfer policy simple, saying that the education minister has brought relief to many teachers in the state. (Inputs: Agencies, NGB)
