Coalition government in state will collapse after LS polls: Sriramulu

Mysuru, April 8:- “Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) have made the coalition for the sake of power. They are also facing the Lok Sabha polls together but their party workers are not happy. The coalition government will surely collapse after the Lok Sabha polls,” predicted Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Molakalmuru MLA B Sriramulu at a press meet held at BJP office in the city on Sunday.

“There is a coalition government in the state but they have no understanding. The leaders have united for power but not the party workers. The differences are clearly seen in their party meetings. Former chief minister Siddaramaiah is mentally disturbed after losing power. The government may collapse even before the Lok Sabha results are out. Mysuru-Kodagu and Chamarajanagar BJP candidates for Lok Sabha elections V Srinivas Prasad and Pratap Simha will bring the amendment in Rajya Sabha for making Talavara and Parivara communities as Scheduled Tribes. We are expecting to win 22 seats in the state,” he added.

“Constitution is not a textbook to be changed that easily. Whoever speaks about the Constitution should be careful while speaking. The Supreme Court has clearly told that the Lok Sabha has no power to alter the core of the Constitution. Even the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has told the same,” said Chamarajanagar BJP candidate, Prasad.

“The first work we did after becoming MPs was to solve the Parivara and Talavara issue. Sriramulu and I took this seriously. We will get this implemented through a gazette notification,” said MP Pratap Simha. (MR/KS)
