Commitment to work will pave way for success: Nadoja Mahesh Joshi

Special lecture on Swami Vivekananda held at Maharani Science College for Women

Mysuru, January 23:- “If you have dedication and commitment towards any work that you do, you will surely achieve success,” said Nadoja Dr Mahesh Joshi.

He was delivering a special lecture on Swami Vivekananda on Vivekananda Jayanti held at Maharani College here on Monday.

“I am inspired by the thoughts and ideologies of Swami Vivekananda. I failed in second year Pre-University Course (PUC) examinations. All my classmates were ahead by one year in their academic studies. I read a book authored by Swami Vivekananda at Ramakrishna Ashram at that time. I didn’t know English then as I was studying in Kannada medium. Pontiff of the ashram explained to me about the book and then I understood the importance of commitment. My parents had consulted astrologers and they told that I won’t succeed in education and won’t get a job in future. Due to the inspiration of Vivekananda, I completed my postgraduation and got a job,” he explained.

He called upon the students to follow the message of Swami Vivekananda in life.

Dr Thandavamurthy, Prof K Siddaraju, Prof B N Santhosh Kumar, Dr P Shivakumar and others were present.
