The second ‘Early childhood education’ conference was held recently in the city under the auspices of Montessori and Kindergarten Teachers Training Academy – Alpha National Montessori School.
During the conference, important concepts of early childhood education, its need and importance of preschool education, early identification and intervention of differently-abled children;
life skills and stress management among pre-school teachers and parents were discussed.
Around 250 pre-school teachers took oath during the graduation ceremony held on the occasion.

Prof Wasim Ahamed, Reader and Principal, JSS Speech and Hearing College, Dharwad; Prof Nagalaksmi Krishnamurthy, Director, Balavikas, Bengaluru and Prof Seetharam, retired principal of Ramakrishna Institute of Moral and Spiritual Education (RIMSE), Mysuru, were present.
