Cong plea to take action against MP Anantkumar Hegde

Mysuru, February 10:- A delegation of Congress party met Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G Sankar and submitted a memorandum demanding legal action against BJP MP and former Union minister Anantkumar Hegde.

The delegation members said that Anantkumar Hegde had called the freedom movement led by Mahatma Gandhi as a ‘drama’ during his speech in Bengaluru on February 3.

The Congress leaders said that the memorandum addressed to the President of India, sought the suspension of MP Hegde and to take strict action against him.

Congress spokesperson Lakshman, Congress city president R Murthy, district president BJ Vijay Kumar and others were present. (KS, NGB)
