Congress acts as if it has Dalits in its pocket: BS Yedyurappa

Mysuru, August 7:- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president B S Yeddyurappa thanked the voters of Nanjangud for helping the BJP candidate win the Assembly elections.

He was speaking at an event organised to thank the voters at Nanjangud on Monday.

He greeted former minister and BJP state vice president V Srinivas Prasad on his birthday on the occasion.

“We won 104 seats in the state Assembly elections. But Janata Dal (Secular) and Congress have made an unethical coalition. The coalition government is yet to take off. The loans of the previous government are unpaid. Dalits are the asset of the state. But Congress is acting as if it has them in its pocket. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has introduced several schemes for the welfare of the public. Dr B R Ambedkar had struggled for compulsory education for all. Congress has neglected Dalits. Narendra Modi will become the prime minister again after the 2019 elections,” Yeddyurappa added.

“Congress is making false allegations that the BJP is attempting to alter the Constitution. Congress has sowed seeds of poison in the minds of people. Nobody can change the Constitution. I will work for the BJP till my last breath. We will see how long the Kumaraswamy government will last,” said BJP state vice president B Sriramulu.

BJP vice-president V Srinivas Prasad, Nanjangud MLA Harshavardhan, Gundlupet MLA Niranjan Kumar, Krishnaraja Constituency MLA S A Ramadas and others were present. (MR/KS).
