Congress rebel leaders expelled from party

Mysuru, August 29:- Mysuru Congress city president R Murthy has given shock to MCC election rebel leaders.

He has also warned of expelling those who campaign in support of independent candidates from the primary membership of the party. A few leaders who have already campaigned for independent candidates have been expelled from the party primary membership for six years. Thus the eviction weapon is being used against those involved in anti-party activities.

Former deputy mayor B Sidaraju, DCC vice-president Shanti Virendra Swamy, R Devaraj of Metagalli have been expelled from the party. Former mayor Purushottam, Dinesh Kumar contesting from ward no. 58, K V Sridhar contesting from ward no. 3, Indira from ward no. 28, Akhbal contesting from ward no. 32 have also been expelled from the party for six years, according to an official announcement by the city Congress president R Murthy.
