Mysuru, August 1:- Women’s wing of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) staged a protest on Wednesday against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government, condemning the Unnao rape.
The protesters who had gathered near Gandhi Square in the city, shouted slogans against the central government. They called BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar as a rapist and urged the government to punish the rapists. They also accused BJP of protecting its guilty MLA and said the victim and her lawyer have been brutally attacked. The activists asked BJP to not protect the guilty.
