Mysuru, April 27:- It is nothing new. People switching parties when the elections are round the corner is common. All the parties, be it Congress, Janata Dal (Secular) or the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) or any other political party are familiar with the embarrassment. In a similar exercise, more than 50 Congress members joined the JD(S) at Belavadi in Chamundeshwari Constituency in the presence of MLA G T Devegowda on Friday.
Devegowda alleged that the money recovered from the residence of contractor Mariswamy was that of the Congress, which Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had planned to distribute in the constituency and said he would file a complaint to the Election Commission. (MR/KS).
