Controversies continue to haunt Sahitya Sammelana

Mysuru, November 22:- Controversies, it seems, are not letting the 83rd Kannada Sahitya Sammelana, to be held smoothly. After the allegations that old chariot was being used for the Sammelana, another allegation is making headlines. Photographer Mohan has alleged that the LED, photography, video works have been given  without any tender.

He said that they are handing over the works to those who are close to the authorities and haven’t discussed anything with anyone. District Kasapa president Dr Y D Rajanna and deputy director of Kannada and culture department H Chennappa clarified that the work has been assigned as directed by the Deputy Commissioner, D Randeep.

The photographer has alleged that he was asked to pay bribe and when he refused, the work has been assigned to others. (MR/KMR).
