Mysuru, December 8:- “If citizens share their problems with the police department, they can lead a peaceful life,” said PSI of Bylakuppe Police Station Lokesh here on Thursday.
He was speaking at a public grievances’ meeting and prior to the visit of Nobel laureate Dalai Lama to Tibetan Settlement in Bylakuppe, at the police station here.
“Cooperation of public is very much required for the police department to be effective. For this purpose, a constable will be appointed at every village,” he said.
“People of Doddaharave village have complained over lack of proper bus facility, deteriorating roads and chicken stalls throwing garbage everywhere. The PSI promised to look into the problem.
