Prime News, National, New Delhi, February 23:- Delhi Police today visited Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence to look for video and other evidence in connection with an alleged assault on Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash there by two AAP legislators earlier this week.
At least 21 video cameras were seized, a Delhi Police official said. They said only 14 of the 21 cameras inside Kejriwal’s house were working. The camera in the room where Prakash was allegedly assaulted was not working, they said.
Kejriwal was inside his Civil Lines residence when the Delhi Police raid happened. Sources in the Delhi Police said Kejriwal could also be questioned later.
On Tuesday, Prakash had alleged that he was beaten up by Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal — Aaam Aadmi Party MLAs — in the presence of Kejriwal at the latter’s residence on Monday night. Prakash was summoned there to attend an emergency meeting. Both the AAP MLAs are currently in judicial custody and being investigated. –(NGB, Inputs: Agencies)
