Mysuru, June 26:- A police constable of Nanjangud Rural Police Station had tested positive for coronavirus. It has caused a headache for the Police Department. Some of the senior police officers who came in contact with the constable were quarantined as a precautionary measure.
Senior officials including IGP of Southern Range Vipul Kumar, Superintendent of Police C B Ryshyanth, ASP P V Sneha and 58 officials were quarantined. Now the report of the cops has arrived saying they are all negative for coronavirus. (MR/KS)
