Coronavirus-free Mysuru is our aim: Minister ST Somashekar

Mysuru, April 29:- “Coronavirus cases are under control in Mysuru district including Nanjangud. Our aim is to make Mysuru district coronavirus-free,” said District in-charge Minister ST Somashekar.

He was speaking at the task force meeting of officials at Nanjangud Mini Vidhana Soudha on Wednesday.

He collected information from Nanjangud MLA B Harshavardhan, Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G Sankar and Superintendent of Police C B Ryshyanth and officials.

“We need public cooperation for controlling coronavirus. The DC and SP have worked in tandem and have set an example. We have to appreciate the work of our coronavirus warriors. MLA Harshavardhan was asking me to probe Jubilant Generics factory angle which is accused of spreading coronavirus. For that, Harsh Gupta has been appointed as the special officer,” he added.
