Coronavirus lockdown: Police to get tough with violators

Mysuru, March 24:- Amid increasing coronavirus threat, police held an inspection of vehicles at Siddalingapura check-post on Tuesday and warned against the unnecessary movement.

The entire state is under lockdown mode to control the spread of coronavirus. The situation is no different in Mysuru.  People have been instructed to stay indoors as much as possible and avoid coming out of their homes unnecessarily.

Even after deputy commissioners of all the districts giving clear instructions, people have continued to come out. At Siddalingapura check-post, after cross-checking the vehicles, the police instructed people to get back home. They warned of strict against violators. They further said that the vehicular movement between Mysuru and Bengaluru will not be allowed. (MR/KS)
