Mysuru, August 7:- BJP MLA from KR Constituency, S A Ramadass on Thursday (August 6) visited Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Wards 57 and 59 in Kuvempunagar and Vivekanandanagar and spoke to those who have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic. He also interacted with primary contacts.
Expressing concern over the spiralling coronavirus cases, the MLA said KR Constituency has reported 400 cases so far. “The spike in positive cases is because more and more people are being subjected to coronavirus tests. Primary contacts and people who are deemed vulnerable are also being screened. Identifying the cases at an early stage and getting the proper treatment will help controlling mortality rate.”
Ramadass continued, “People of my constituency are responding positively. Our men are working towards making the constituency corona-free. A list of heart patients, cancer patients and people who are undergoing dialysis is being prepared. Health workers are meeting them on a regular basis and if anyone is found to be suffering from coronavirus, he or she is hospitalised. Taking the right steps well in time will help us in controlling the damage.”
Councillor M C Ramesh, Sunanda Palanetra, Ravi, Prasad Pachchu, Roopa, Adarsha Venkatesh Das, Sampath, police officials and health inspectors were present. (MR/KS)
