Mysuru, February 5:- “With neighbouring Kerala reporting three cases of coronavirus, the Health Department in Mysuru has taken all the measures,” said district health officer (DHO) Dr R Venkatesh.
“Special ward has been set up at KR Hospital in the city. The special ward has 8-10 beds dedicated to corona patients. No corona cases have been reported in Mysuru as of now. Awareness is being created among the public regarding coronavirus. Awareness is being created at the Mandakalli Airport, Mysuru Palace premises, Chamundi Hills and Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens at Indiranagar. A person will be screened for coronavirus if there are symptoms,” he added. (MR/KS)
