Mysuru, January 11:- Corporator B V Manjunath inaugurated concrete pipeline installation and drainage work to be undertaken from 7th cross street to 14th cross street on Ramanuja Road at Agrahara on Thursday.
As these pipelines were laid under the houses, it was difficult to repair if it got blocked. So the drainage water was inevitably let through rainwater drainage. The residents of the area have been suffering for over 3 months due to this problem and they brought it to the notice of the MLA. The MLA discussed with the Commissioner of MCC and got Rs 40 lakh released immediately for the work. After the tender process, the corporator B V Manjunath performed groundbreaking for the works.
Residents of the area Doddaiah, Cauvery, Sudhindra, Balakrishna, Om Prakash, Madhu and others were present. (KS, NGB)
