Mysuru, June 30:- The novel coronavirus has claimed another person’s life on Monday night (June 29), the third victim in Mysuru district. The deceased who was an employee of Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru, died without responding to the treatment.
The person was admitted to Covid-19 Government Hospital here following Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI). He was working at the RDPR section of Vidhana Soudha. The district administration is awaiting the confirmation report from the Covid laboratory.
With the rising number of coronavirus positive cases in Mysuru and Bengaluru, the officials have been trying to trace the travel history of the patient. The deceased, a 36-year-old man, was a native of Kanchina Kere village in KR Nagar and had come to his village 3 days ago. (KS, NGB)
