Covid-19: Police register case against person for violating home quarantine

Mysuru, March 24:- A person who had returned to India from London (United Kingdom) on March 22 was instructed by the officials to remain at home for 14 days. He was supposed to stay indoors till April 6. He had come to Mysuru, but didn’t stay back at home.

Though he was aware of the government regulations, he roamed around various places and mingled with the public. As he violated the rules and regulations of Health and Family Welfare Department, VV Puram Police have registered a complaint against him.

Mysuru Commissioner of Police Dr Chandragupta has warned of strict action against violators. (NR/KS)
