Covid-19 death toll rises to 927 in Mysuru district

Mysuru, October 20- Mysuru’s Covid-19 tally spiked to 45,193 on Monday (October 19) after it reported 151 new infections.

As many as 496 people have been discharged from Covid Hospitals, taking the district’s tally to 37,319. Out of 45,193 cases, 6947 are active in the district. Mysuru also reported 4 deaths on Monday and the death toll has risen to 927.

As many as 17 of the 64 fresh deaths were from Bengaluru Urban followed by Dakshina Kannada – 6, Bengaluru Rural and Chamarajanagara – 5. The patients had either had a history of Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) or Influenza-like illness (ILI).

Among other districts, Bengaluru Urban reported 2,481 of the fresh positive cases followed by Tumakuru – 253, Chikkaballapura – 193, Ballari – 186, Bengaluru Rural – 173, Mandya – 130, Dakshina Kannada – 107, Chitradurga and Koppal – 106 each. In Bengaluru Urban district, 2,41,942 patients recovered followed by Mysuru – 37,319 and Ballari – 33,442.
