Covid-19 vaccination drive held at GSSSIETW Mysuru

Mysuru, July 5:- GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Mysuru, in association with the Department of Health, Mysuru, organised a one-day COVID-19 vaccination drive on Saturday (July 3) at the institute campus for the benefit of students of GSSSIETW, GSSS SOAW and GSSS SSFGC, Mysuru.

More than 500 students were vaccinated with Covaxin during the drive. RT-PCR tests were also conducted for all those who got vaccinated.

Vanaja B Pandit, Secretary, GSSS; R K Bharath, CEO and board member, GSSS; Anupama B Pandit, Administrative Officer, GSSSIETW; Dr Shivakumar M, Principal, GSSSIETW, were present on the occasion.

Dr S Bellappa, Head, Department of Chemistry and Dr Yogesh M, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, coordinated with the health officials in organising the drive successfully.

The standard operating procedures (SOPs) given by the government of Karnataka were strictly followed during the vaccination drive, stated a press release from Mahanthesh U, assistant professor, Department of ECE, GSSSIETW. (NGB)
