CPI activists stage protest; urge Centre to fulfill demands

Mysuru, August 13:- The members of Communist Party of India (CPI), District Unit, staged a protest in front of Gandhi’s bust, opposite District Law Courts on Monday urging the central government to fulfill various demands.

The protesters, said that the assurances of ushering ‘Acche Din’ for the common man has remained a pipe-dream and urged the center not to back the corporate companies.

They also urged the central government to provide fair price to crops and demanded implementation of Dr M S Swaminathan Commission report.

Hundreds of members participated in the protest. (KS, NGB)
