Mysuru, May 18:- District wing of Communist Party of India activists staged a protest on Friday, condemning the Karnataka Governor’s move to allow Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to form the government.
The protesters who had gathered near the District Law Courts here said, “The voters have not given a mandate to BJP to form the government. The decision of the Congress to support the Janata Dal (Secular) unconditionally is a welcome move to protect the Constitution and keep communal forces away from power. The Governor has taken an unconstitution move to allow BJP to form the government. We condemn his decision to not allow JD(S)-Congress alliance to form the government.”
Hundreds of protesters were present. (MR/KS).
