Mysuru, December 19:- School children held an awareness march in the city on Wednesday as a part of the ‘Crime prevention month.’ Students of Kuvempu High School participated in the rally organised by Saraswathipuram Police.
The rally began at Kuvempu School and went through Sahukar Channaiah Road, Maruti Temple Road, Kamakshi Hospital Road and culminated at the school premises. 60 – 70 students participated in the rally.
“Women have to be aware of chain-snatchers in the city. If you find anyone involving in communal riots and anti-social activities, bring it to the notice of nearest police station. Cooperate with police to prevent the crime in the city,” said police inspector Jaya Kumar on the occasion.
ASI Manchaiah, staffs Kumar, Madhusudan, Sudesh Babu, Harish, Raghavendra and others were present. (MR/KS)
