CRPC condemns vandalism at Dr BR Ambedkar’s house in Mumbai

Mysuru, July 22:- Condemning the vandalism at Dr B R Ambedkar’s house in Mumbai recently, Citizens’ Rights Protection Committee (CRPC) held a protest here on Tuesday (July 21).

The protesters, who had gathered in large numbers near the deputy commissioner’s (DC) office, said the “Attack on Dr Ambedkar’s house in Mumbai is condemnable. This cheap act by some miscreants has shamed the entire country. Some Hindu fundamentalists may have done this act. The Maharashtra government should ask the police to nab the culprits and punish them. Households of Dr Ambedkar should also be given protection.”

They submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G Sankar to be sent to the President Ram Nath Kovind.

Govindaraju, Tara, Krishnamurthy, K L Krishnakumar, V Maniyamma, Ravikumar, Putta Madu, Parvathamma, Krishnabai, Indramma, Mohammed Munawar and many others took part in the protest. (MR/KS)
