Mysuru, May 29:- “Being in government service is not enough, one should cultivate social concern,” said former MLA Anita Kumaraswamy on Monday.
She was speaking after felicitating K G Gowda, who is retiring from the Mysore University Housing Board at Kalamandir organised by K G Gowda Snehajeevi Balaga.
“Many think that they can get settled once they get a government job after graduation. Life is beyond that. Those who are in academia have the ability to change the society. Work for the betterment of the society like K G Gowda. His ideologies are worth following,” she added.
