Mysuru, January 29: As part of Thyagaraja and Purandaradasa Aradhana, Gaanabharathi is presenting a Cultural extravaganza from February 1 to 4 at Veenesheshanna Bhavana at Kuvempunagar in the city.
On first two days, a stage to listen to young new faces Taruna Bharathi, on February 1 a Carnatic vocal concert from 6 pm to 7.30 pm by Apeksha A has been organised. She would be accompanied by Shruthi on violin, Deepika Srinivasan on mridanga, from 7.30 pm to 9 pm Pancha violin concert by Keshav, Shruthi, Prithvi, Krithik Koushik and Amogh, they would be accompanied by Pavan Madhav Masoor on mridanga and Srinidhi on ghata.
On February 2, from 6 pm to 7.30 pm Flute recital by Rakesh Datta, he would be accompanied by Keshava on violin, Vikram Bharadwaj on mridanga and Ajay on Ghata, from 7.30 pm to 9 pm Carnatic Vocal duet by Medha and Manya, they would be accompanied by Yashasvi on violin, Amrith on mridanga and Ajay on Ghata.
On February 3 and 4, Ganabharathi, S P V G M C Trust, Ananya, Devageetham Trust and Yuvadhwani are joining hands together to celebrate Haridasotsava. An attempt is made to feature various art forms in this festival. The programme will be inaugurated by Panditt Fayaz Khan on February 3 at 6 pm.
