Day to mark specially-abled today

Mysuru, December 25:- “Swamy Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM) is organising the international Day of specially-abled at  Town Hall,” said the secretary of the organisation, Dr M A Balasubrahmanya at a press meet at Mysuru press club.

“The event will be held at 10 am. State commissioner of welfare department of specially-abled V S Basavaraj, CEO of zilla panchayat K V Jyoti, director of AIISH Prof M Pushpavati, CEO of Azim Premji philanthropic initiative, G Ananthapadmanabhan, Lingesh, Asha and Anganwadi workers will be present,” he said.

“The organisation aims at providing medical help, medical certificate, identity card, free and concession bus and railway pass and other amenities,” he said.
