Mysuru, August 22:- Deputy commissioner Abhiram G Shankar has on several media reports related to food products collection in the city to be sent to Kodagu.
The deputy commissioner clarified that the administration has not stopped receiving necessary food grains and products, but stopped receiving bread and bun which won’t last long. He said that the bread and bun collected are being sent to K R Hospital and Cheluvamba Hospital as they perish in no time.
He said that media reports were saying food grains collected are enough to last for 45 days, which is not true. He said that the collection of necessary items for the flood-affected Kodagu has not stopped. (MR/MN).
