Mysuru, June 17:- Chief Minister Siddaramaiah who is visiting the city on June 29 to launch various developmental works, will be inaugurating the Swimming pool constructed at a cost of Rs 4.97 crore at the Chamundi Vihar Stadium premises. Deputy Commissioner D Randeep visited the stadium premsies on Friday to inspect the swimming pool work which is in progress.
The chief minister will inaugurate the children’s swimming pool, Olympics model swimming pool, administrative office, ticket counter, water purification plant room, washrooms and bathrooms for men and women, on the occasion.
“He will lay the foundation for tennis academy which will be constructed at a cost of Rs 5 crore, gymnastic centre, women’s sports complex and water sports facilities at Varuna Lake at a cost of Rs 5 crore.
Siddaramaiah will also inaugurate the mini theatre,” the DC added.
Assistant director of Youth Empowerment and Sports Department K Suresh, Nirmithi Kendra director Manjunath, engineers Satish, Shivaramegowda and others were present.
