Debt-ridden farmer ends life

Mysuru: Unable to bear the burden of mounting debts, a farmer from Mutturayana Hosahalli in Hunsur taluk created committed suicide recently.  The deceased has been identified as Ravi Gowda (44). He had borrowed Rs 15 lakh from banks and private agencies.

Due to less yield from the past two years, he was unable to clear his debts. This forced him to take extreme steps.

Ravi Gowda, who was found to be in an unconscious condition, breathed his last on the way to a hospital.

A case has been registered in Hunsur Rural Police Station. (AM/KS).
