Debt-ridden farmer ends life

Mysuru, September 11:- Hit hard by debts, a young farmer,  belonging to Magali village of Periyapattana taluk, allegedly committed suicide on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Yogesh (22). He had tobacco licence in his mother Susheela’s name. He had borrowed loans up to Rs 4.5 lakh from SBI (ADB). To his bad luck, Yogesh did not get expected yield which led to heavy losses. Pressure from the bank repay the loan led to farmer’s suicide. Periyapattana police have registered a complaint.
