In an attempt to create rational thinking among people to get rid of blind beliefs, city based cultural trust Desiranga conducting interaction session on ‘Is possible to build equal society in India?, If yes, how can be planned? If not, why impossible ?’ at 11.30am at Sriranga stage of Rangayana on June 26. The programme is organised in commemoration of rational thinker Professor K Ramadas.
Progressive thinker Nidumamidi Mutt seer Veerabhadra Chennamalla Swamy will be inaugurating the event, rational thinker Professor G K Govindarao will be preside over the event. Professor Aravinda Malagatthi will be launching book ‘Dharmavemba Soothaka’. Besides, documentary on K Ramadas will be launched during the event.
Addressing media persons here on Wednesday, Desiranga Cultural Trust secretary Krishna Janamana said that progressive thinkers and followers of Professor K Ramadas, including N S Gopinath, Ugranarasimhegowda, Dr Poornananda, K V Mallesh will be taking part in the interaction session. This apart, prizes will be distributed for essay competition winners. We have invited essays from across the state; in this regard we have received forty essays. Selected best three will be rewarded, he said.
Further adding, Desiranga treasurer P S Dinamani pointed that there are huge number of progressive thinkers are becoming mute spectators due to lack of unity with their likeminded people and few among them are raising voice individually, perhaps they are not getting support from civilized class as expected level. Thus, resulted decreasing number of voice of rational ideas. However, it is also an attempt to organize such likeminded progressive thinkers under one roof, so that it would be helps to claim strong voice against imposition of fundamental ideas among innocents, she said.
