Devaraja Police staffs offer aid to flood affected people in Kodagu

Mysuru, August 22:- To bring succor to the people affected by flash floods in Kodagu, the Devaraja Police staffs have donated clothes and footwear in the city on Wednesday.

Devaraja Police perosnnel on Wednesday handed over 200 pairs of footwear, trousers, dhoti, towels, chudidars, innerwear and other garments to the people reeling under flood situation in Kodagu District.

The police officers also handed over the relief materials and cash of Rs 5,001 to MCC environmental officer S Mythri at the Relief Material Collection Centre opened at Town Hall premises in the city.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Devaraja Police limits Gajendra Prasad, Devaraja Police Inspector Thimmaraju, ASI M Uday Kumar, Vishwanath, Anjaneya, Umesh, Nataraj and others were present. –HN,KK
