Writer Malali Vasanthakumar expressed his happiness over the emergence of large number of books on subjects related to science in Kannada.
Kannada Sahitya Parishath, Mysuru, in association with Samvahana Publications had organised a programme to release the book ‘Devaru Iddaneye?’ authored by K K Chandrakanth Kupya.
Speaking after the launch of the book, he said: “Unlike before now a large number of books related to scientific subjects are being written and published. ‘Devaru Iddaneye?’ by Chandrakanth Kupya is one such book which falls under the category of science mystery and explores the existence of god.
God is a visionary experience. Even though people oppose the existence of god intellectually, inwardly they believe and support the existence of god.”
“Chadrakantha Kupya through his work has thus paved the way for youth to take up science writing and explore its various facets,” he added.
Vengipur Mutt seer Ilai Alvar Swami, retired Prof Dr K M Govindegowda, President of District Kannada Sahitya Parishat Dr Y D Rajanna, social worker K Raghuram, former KaSaPa President M Chandrashekhar, D N Lokappa and others were present.
