Mysuru, February 19:- Kumbhamela at Triveni Sangama of Tirumakudalu witnessed a large number of devotees visiting on the second day on Monday evening. Special lightings and music attracted visitors.
Premises of Gunja Narasimha Swamy Temple and Vyasaraja Mutt were completely full of devotees. There was no place for the public even to stand. Even as hundreds of people tried to cross the temporary floating bridge, there was a bit of chaos. The floating bridge started to shake due to the rush.
Police have formed human chains of two stages to avoid casualties with the increasing movement of people. They caution the crowd standing to watch lightings and cultural events. As soon as the scorching sun came down, Tirumakudalu witnessed a mammoth gathering of devotees. (MR/KS).
