Digital tech to control traffic in Mysuru

Mysuru, August 8:- Mysuru has taken a step forward to control the traffic problems by adapting the digital technology.

Mysuru City Police and Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) have taken the decision to avoid traffic hazards during Mysuru Dasara by setting up electronic displays at four places in the city. The displays will give traffic awareness to the people. They will provide information regarding the speed limit for all the vehicles and information regarding traffic jam.

The displays are being set up at Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple, Bengaluru-Mysuru Ring Road, Ashoka Circle (Ballal Circle) and Nanjangud-Mysuru Main Road. They will start functioning before Dasara begins.

Will these electronic boards succeed in controlling traffic problems in the city? Only time will answer. (MR/KS).
