Discuss corruption charges in the Assembly, not outside: MLC AH Vishwanath

Prime News, Karnataka, Corruption, Politics, Mysuru, December 17:- Bharatiya Janata Party MLC A H Vishwanath on Friday (December 17) hit out at Congress leaders D K Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah for discussing corruption in the BJP government in the public domain.

Revealing that he has been advised two months’ rest by the doctors, Vishwanath said, “Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar are seasoned politicians. What should be discussed in the Assembly is being discussed outside. They should tell the Assembly about the corruption charges with proof. They should not be talking as if they are right. Shivakumar finalised the Rs 7,000 crore solar tender deal within three minutes. Who was the Chief Minister then?

Vishwanath said, “Why did Siddaramaiah scrap Lok Ayukta when he was at the helm? Let us have a detailed investigation in all the land dealings for the truth to come out. Their own leaders have made corruption charges against Shivakumar.”

Reacting to Congress MLA K R Ramesh Kumar’s rape comment, the BJP leader said, “As former Assembly Speaker, he should know what to talk. He only claims he is very intelligent, but has been thoroughly exposed because of his cheap remark.” (MR/KS)
