Discuss with educationists on school syllabus: AH Vishwanath

Mysuru, May 8:- The state government is thinking of reducing the school syllabus as the next academic year is not expected to begin in the near future. Responding to this, senior BJP leader AH Vishwanath suggested to the government to discuss with educationists and take an appropriate decision.

He was speaking to media persons at Suttur Mutt premises here on Friday.

“Syllabus should not be reduced based on the suggestions of IAS officers. Collect the opinions of educationists and the general public as well,” he said.

Responding to the allegations by former chief minister Siddaramaiah that the state government has announced a package to a particular community, Vishwanath said that the government will release funds to other communities as well in the coming days. (MR/KS)
