Mysuru, December 9:- A discussion regarding the creation of harassment-free society for women was held on Sunday at the Scouts and Guides Ground. The event was organised under the auspices of Samaja Nirmana Vedike.
Students, thinkers, members and leaders of various organisations took part in the event and shared their opinions.
“Harassment on women and rape of women are increasing in society. Instead of taking action after rape, we have to take action to avoid such incidents in the society. We will make a book on this and send to the President of India,” said the president of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) women’s wing, Dr Pushpa B Amarnath. (MR/KS)
