Mysuru, July 31:- Pandemonium prevailed for sometime at the monthly council meeting of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) on Monday as several corporators raised their voice and alleged that the officials were not listening to them and the development works in the wards being neglected. The meeting was convened to discuss various development works launched in the city.
Mayor MJ Ravi Kumar intervened during the meeting and assured the corporators to discuss the issues later, after the council meeting.
Nagabhushan and Prashanth Gowda opposed the Mayor’s suggestion and urged that it should be discussed immediately and asked the Mayor to instruct the officials to complete the development works on time.
Deputy Mayor Ratna Laxman and MCC commissioner G Jagadish were present at the meeting.
