Mysuru, August 11:- “Karnataka Janatha Party (KJP) will contest the election for all the 65 wards of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC). Applications will be distributed at the party office at Agrahara on August 13 from 10 am,” said state president of the party Padmanabha Prasanna Kumar at a press meet at Mysuru press club on Saturday.
“13 candidates have been finalised from the party. We will distribute applications to those who are interested to contest from the party. The coalition government should continue pro-people schemes introduced by Siddaramaiah government. Film city should be established in Mysuru,” he added.
“More than 50 farmers have committed suicide after HD Kumaraswamy became chief minister. He didn’t visit their houses even for courtesy sake. He is giving misleading statements on loan waiver, students bus passes and other schemes,” he said.
